Split The Sea was born from the belief that we are by nature positive towards change. However, that does not mean that we like to ‘be’ changed or must change. They are convinced that next to the question “Is the project ready to be implemented?”, we also must ask ourselves: “Are we ready as an organization?” and “Am I ready as an individual within that organization?”.
Based on this vision, they guide companies and organizations who are confronted with turmoil in times of internal and external changes. The customers are both individuals who need support with their professional challenges and multinationals implementing a new IT platform.
Above all, they promote the ‘people’ aspects in change processes and ensure that everyone stays on board. They provide insight into the process: What are the goals? When do you think this will be successful? Which steps and actions are needed for this at what time? And what if we do nothing? These insights ensure the development of targeted, easily applicable tools such as a specific communication plan, checklists for managers, training plans and a dashboard to monitor the change.
The strength is that, based on their expertise in managing concrete projects, they make organizations ready for change, and they can work on this up to an individual level. This strengthens the organization for future challenges.
Some of the core activities:
- Change management: where project management mainly looks after technical elements such as budget, scope, time and (product) quality, we continue on humane elements such as awareness, resistance and user adoption.
- Project coaching: with more than 15 years of project management expertise, they support companies during (IT) project implementations.
- Individual coaching: like it or not, during change, it may happen that people no longer have the feeling that they ‘match’ with the organization or their current position. Split The Sea is recognized for career guidance and outplacement. They use methods to keep people on board, strengthen their growth and their role within the team, and if needed guide them in their search for a new challenge so they remain ‘ambassadors’ of the organization even after their employment.
